BASE-LINE CUSTOM

The budget-minded option

The basic repaint service essentially entails the choice of a new body color for the exterior of a model & is starting point for all of my creations and an excellent entry into the world of bespoke models.

The price point for  this service is as follows (does not include the actual cost of the model, only the service i'm providing):

TRADITIONAL METAL DIECAST MODEL

$250 for an OEM color matched two-stage paint.

$300 for an OEM color matched three-stage paint. (tricoat paints are most commonly found in pearl whites and brighter shades of pearl/red metallics.

MODERN RESIN & COMPOSITE MODEL

$275 for an OEM color matched two-stage paint.

$325 for an OEM color matched three-stage paint. (tricoat paints are most commonly found in pearl whites and brighter shades of pearl/red metallics.
*resin & composite models are much more labor intensive to refinish because their paint cannot be stripped with chemicals.
as a result, the process takes much longer.

Due to increasing requests for builds, all builds have a 2-3 month window (MINIMUM) for completion.  A time frame will be discussed in detail if you decide to have me build a custom model for you.  **Note-That build window is contingent upon the required deposit being paid AND the date I acquire the donor model***

Lastly, with the current situation surrounding import tarriffs and such, models of a rarer nature have become far more difficult to obtain.  As such, I will offer my time to help search for models in various places....but if the model that is needed is located outside of the United States, you (the buyer) will be responsible for paying for and obtaining the donor model.  Due to tariff complications, I have removed myself from that part of the process.  You are more than welcome to have the donor model for your build shipped directly to me or have it shipped to yourself and then you can ship it to me.

At this level of service, the fees above cover all paint supplies, my time disassembling, stripping/body prep, & reassembly.

***Note - Autoart, Kyosho, & older Minichamps models add an additional $15 to the above costs as these models generally require extra time & attention to tear down and reassemble.

Once the model is completed, the buyer is responsible for covering insured shipping to receive the model.
