IMPORTANT PRICING INFORMATION

It is important to note that my pricing listed ONLY reflects my fee & supplies cost to customize to customize a model and DOES NOT INCLUDE the donor model itself.  The following 3 options are available to you:

1. You have to the model on hand already and ship it to me

2. You locate the donor model yourself and then purchase/ship it to me or have it direct shipped to me (save you some money on shipping.

3. I locate the model and along with the required 50%, non-refundable deposit of my build fee, you send me the funds to purchase the donor model.

Cost Breakdown
A 50% non-refundable deposit of the agreed upon build fee is due before the project beings .  This covers the initial cost of all paint supplies and other misc. build supplies to get started.  Upon completion and confirmation that the project is what we agreed upon, the remaining 50% of the build fee & actual cost of shipping (insured & the delivery signature) must be paid before the model ships.

Actual model cost plus any shipping fee involved   -  This varies greatly as some models are current and others have long since been discontinued.  I generally search www.eBay.com  first and then branch out to other die-cast collector forums to search for a model.   If you have the model already, the preceding does not apply.  You will be shipping to me as stated in bold below.

Example: model is on eBay for 50.00 + 15.00 shipping = $65 for actual model cost


***If you have the model on hand already, you are responsible for the cost to ship it to me  & IT MUST BE SENT AS A “SIGNATURE REQUIRED ON DELIVERY*(this is for your protection and mine).  Additionally, it is your choice to insure the package or not…..i personally insure all my models to ensure that if any damage occurs during transport, I can file a claim.  IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO INSURE A MODEL YOU ARE SENDING TO ME, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT MIGHT INCUR DURING SHIPPING.



Actual shipping cost at the completion of the build - As the buyer, you are required to pay all shipping costs and a signature upon deliver is REQUIRED.  Additionally, the returned model MUST BE INSURED….NO EXCEPTIONS!  I will only ship this way because lets face it, accidents happen and if anything happens to the model during shipment, as the buyer, you are covered to file a claim to recoup your money.  Once a model leaves my home, I have zero control over how it is handled, so this covers me as well.   All that said, a final cost on the insured shipping (screen print from USPS) would be shared with you.

Example: model was originally $50 + $125 build fee = $175 insured value.

Lastly, once the deposit money is paid to cover the 50% +actual model cost if model is not yet purchased, there is no turning back, “changing your mind” and “canceling order” for a refund, as once I lay hands on the model, it’s not something that can be returned to whomever I bought it from.  (THIS MEANS NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSIT MONEY). Paying the cost for a model (if its one you don’t actually have on hand) and the 50% of my build cost upfront means you (the buyer) has agreed to proceed with the build.  I’ve not had any unsatisfied buyers but I have to put this in here for my own protection.  I will bend over backwards to ensure you are getting a model you absolutely love and as stated above, I stay in touch the ENTIRE time I’m building, so always ask for feedback and open to changes along the way if needed.

One final note, upon agreement of a commissioned build, I will fill out and send a signed contract with the agreed upon price, as well as a estimated time frame of the build.  It must be returned.  Again, this protects both you and I.
